Blog with Me! How FASHION Explains Linking Websites?!?

LINKING 101

Since I like FASHION,
using this picture of jewelry makes more sense then
all the DNA circles many people use to try and explain LINKING.

LINKING DEFINITION

Linking in the most basic definitions is connecting to another website via an active web link. Using the jewelry up above, just imagine all the links being website.  As we link to each other, we become connected.  Many of us are small silver links in the chain; however, many of us with work, good content and some insight become the cool rocks in the chain

LINKING CREATES A PROFOUND CONNECTION

While reading many websites about linking I found this comment profound:

"Linking creates a social connection. This is my favorite reason. For example when people link to me or I see any reference coming, I visit his/her blog which makes me aware of the existence of his/her blog, it makes me realize that he/she is a regular reader of my blog and I read other posts on his/her blog and if they interest me, I normally tend to subscribe to those blogs. This has two benefits, firstly my reading is increasing and secondly the readers of the other blog are increasing too, as the chances that I will link to that blog again in the future drastically increases."  *I added the italicized parts.

Watch me make an official link to Tejas Patel at http://geekswithblogs.net/tpatel/archive/2004/06 and see if we ever receive a link back!

NEXT BLOG
We more to cover on Linking including, link bombing, spamming, buying links from high valued sites, linking to competitors blogs (which you will watch me do), Linking within your own blogs and much more.  Stay Tuned!

All the Best!

Hi, congrats! Every thing looks great, easy to understand and to the point as you always seem to manage it. I'll be saying hi, even if it's at 2 in the AM, after "house work is done, and baby's asleep" (it's never done) at least on the surface. Hope you understand what I mean, do you ever, does anybody, sorry to ramble on. I liked your you tube video, I guess it's normal for the voice not to go along with your mouth on you tube?
Hope alls well tomorrow at class, maybe I'll see you after.

Regarding the video - it's not normal for the voice not to go along with my mouth.  Sometimes if you watch it twice the sound will catch up with the video.  Sometimes the video just sucks!

      Thanks for your comment Roza!
