Blog with Me! What's a Podcast?
We moved through Adding Video pretty quickly and learned how to overcome fears, social anxiety and implementing videos in two short blogs. Now on to a podcast. Podcast is the term for music. It lets you create and record music or simply add your favorite MP3 music. At least that's what I first thought.
Then I did some additional investigation.
Elance posted a twitter yesterday that said "Adding a podcast is one of the best ways to give your website a content boost." http://ow.ly/2u8OY
A podcast can be used in many ways. Many times people use podcasts in addition to their blog, in combination with their video or as a way of blogging altogether. It can be a small radio bite. Me talking to you without having to put on lip gloss like I did with the video.
My next blog with be "Just a Podcast" and we'll see if it will spice things up a bit. It appears many people like blogging in written form better because the actual content can be picked by search engines whereas I have to tag or transcribe my video and podcast in order to make the content readable. Although, there are many ways to tag and and have your content seen which we we talk about in the future.
It appears knowing how to use all the technology together makes your sight the most relevant.

Hi.
Thanks for following up with me. I'm looking for a couple of technical groups I can attend and maybe a couple of my friends can attend on a regular basis. I've been traveling to other cities and their businesses do so much better because they network in person. I guess I thought it was a little old fashioned and a time waster (we meet people and exchange information online all the time). However, when I saw how small businesses became large businesses in Seattle it was quite impressive. Face to Face meets at a pub or cafe are quite valuable.
